About The Business Dvelopment Unit

IEC’s Business Development Unit operates directly under the guidance of IEC Senior Vice-President, Engineering Projects and Business Development. The main purpose of this unit is to promote IEC expertise and capabilities to expand its business spheres both locally and abroad. The Company promotes its extensive and diverse engineering services skills in all fields of the electricity chain by both conventional and renewable technologies abroad. The Unit has been awarded many projects in Eastern Europe, Africa, South America, Spain, Cyprus, Greece, Papua New Guinea, and India.

The Business Development Unit promotes energy efficiency and sale of engineering skills in the fields of transmission and istribution in the local market and is currently building four substations for the Palestinian Authority. By-products produced by the generation system such as coal-ash and gypsum are marketed locally.

IEC also markets its infrastructures, laboratory expertise and other diverse services.
